Our Company History
Merry Maids of Lehigh Valley is a proud part of the Merry Maids® brand at large,
whose history dates back to 1979 when the original location was first
opened in Omaha, Nebraska. Since then, the company has expanded to cities
across the U.S., including our very own right here in Hellertown, PA .
A little bit about our start:
During a successful real estate career, franchise owner, Audrey Rehnert,
discovered a real need for expert residential cleaning services in our
immediate area. After doing extensive research, she discovered Merry Maids,
the #1 cleaning service company in the United States. She then purchased
the local franchise in 1992 and has been successfully servicing the homes
and families of Northampton County for over 30 years. In October of this
year, Audrey purchased the existing Lehigh County license which added
to her growing staff of clients. Audrey is dedicated to her clients, her
staff and her community and looks to continue the growth of our franchise
and our community.
